The resident House Sparrows harass and or chase away most of the other
birds near the feeders. It was
quite enjoyable to watch the Dickcissel turn the tables on these birds several
times today.

For the 3rd time over the past 8 years a Dickcissel has joined
the local flock of House Sparrows and is
visiting my feeders on a fairly regular basis (3 days at this point)
